Crispin

1. In this book, the boy who was named Crispin is a main character. He was just a young and pleasant boy whose mother's name is Asta. Before his mother died, his name was just Asta's son. Later, his real name was revealed. It's 'Crispin'. His mother was not respected by the villagers. Even though she had passed away, nobody pitied her. The day after his mother's funeral, everything had changed dangerously.

2. He is a wolf's head because John Aycliffe spread the rumors like that. He did nothing wrong but the said that he stole money.

3. I think Crispin might be the son of the lord or king. According to what Father Quinel said, Asta could read and write but she pretended like she couldn't read or write at all. I guess if a woman was educated that time, she must be from a wealthy and welfare family. On the other hands, Crispin was baptized. It does mean that his father was the lord or in high level.

4. I think he is going to another village which is situated far from the previous village where he had been living in. Otherwise, he would be arrested by John Aycliffe. I guess Crispin will meet someone and go on a journey with him (or her).
